Harris’s love for music began in his home in the Bronx, NY where the sounds of his grandfather’s alto saxophone and New York's storied music traditions of bebop and hip-hop consumed him. His early immersion into such a diverse and premier level of music not only contributed to his career as a musician but also developed his distinguished taste for music curation.

Directing programming for clubs, festivals, and events at places such as Casa Cipriani and the North Carolina Jazz Festival, Harris’s company, Pretty for the People, has extensive experience at the highest level in creating seamless music programs while prioritizing the quality of the entertainment.
